Building a product made from components that meet accessibility standards will result in accessible end products – right? A design system can seem like a quick fix for your organisation's accessibility needs. But if you lack a culture that champions accessibility, you will fight a losing battle.

In this talk, Geri will walk you through a roadmap for organisational accessibility—from compliance to education to assembling a community of allies. She’ll also give you a practical guide to building design system components with accessibility at the forefront.

Previously, Geri led design on design systems at Lloyds Banking Group and Checkout.com, and she is a keen accessibility advocate, amateur writer, and documentation nerd.
